What this team is
Defense first, second and third here; everything else is support staff. The face of it is T.J. Watt (LE, 96).
Offense
Jaylen Warren (HB, 87) is the headliner. 97 carrying — the ball simply does not come out; 94 acceleration — zero to full speed in a blink — the first three steps are already gone. He is close to the only non-problem this offense has.
Bottom-four offense by the ratings: field goals feel like wins, touchdowns feel like rumors, and three-and-outs feel like home. Aaron Rodgers (79) at quarterback is serviceable rather than special; the stars around him are asked to make him right.
Defense
T.J. Watt (LE, 96) sets the terms. 94 finesse moves — wins with bend and hands — the finesse half of a rush; 93 block shedding — sheds blocks like they are optional; 93 tackling — does not miss in the open field. Offenses spend the week accounting for him, and the rest of this defense eats in the space that creates.
And he has company at the top: Cam Heyward (95), Jalen Ramsey (92) also rate 90+, giving this roster 3 defenders at that level — something only 5 teams in the league can say.
Special teams
Chris Boswell (85) kicks — 96 leg, 94 accuracy, one of the better specialists in the game. Cameron Johnston (73) punts — 91 leg, 79 accuracy. The return game has a genuine weapon: Kaden Wetjen (86 return, 90 speed).
Hidden gems
Offense: Roman Wilson (WR, 71 OVR) — a 93 speed buried at 71 overall. Speed is the one trait that plays at any overall — it travels to any package, any formation, any Sunday.
Defense: Daylen Everette (CB, 72 OVR). Read the ratings page twice: the overall says 72, the speed says 93. Overall is about the whole job; that speed is about one job, and he can already do that one as well as most starters.
Built from EA's Week 7 roster update: the headliners are each side's highest-rated players, trait callouts are their actual top ratings, and league ranks compare all 32 starting units in the same file. A gem is a non-starter (85 OVR or under) carrying at least one elite trait of 92+.
