What this team is

A middle-of-the-league roster with specific, nameable strengths and one problem it cannot hide. The face of it is Josh Hines-Allen (LE, 89).

Reality check: Jacksonville's leading receiver is Parker Washington — a former sixth-round pick the game rates 84 — whom Lawrence publicly calls 'elite,' and the 4-2 Jaguars are winning with the league's third-stingiest defense (17.3 points a game), not the offense this page is built around.

Offense

Trevor Lawrence (QB, 87) is the headliner. 93 short accuracy — pinpoint underneath, where this offense quietly lives; 92 throw power — plenty of arm to drive it outside the numbers. Everything this offense does is built to get him the ball in the situations those numbers describe. The fine print on that number: shoulder surgery on his non-throwing side ended his 2024 early — fully cleared since, but it is part of his file now.

And the line is the fire alarm: a bottom-four unit by the ratings (75.8 average). Every long-developing concept is a negotiation with it.

Defense

Josh Hines-Allen (LE, 89) sets the terms. 90 finesse moves — wins with bend and hands — the finesse half of a rush. Offenses spend the week accounting for him, and the rest of this defense eats in the space that creates.

Special teams

Cam Little (80) kicks — 99 leg, 92 accuracy. Logan Cooke (76) punts — 94 leg, 82 accuracy. The return game has a genuine weapon: Parker Washington (87 return, 89 speed).

Hidden gems

Offense: an honest bench. No buried star, no trait that betrays the overall. What you see is what is there.

Defense: Caleb Ransaw (FS, 73 OVR) — a 95 speed buried at 73 overall. Speed is the one trait that plays at any overall — it travels to any package, any formation, any Sunday.

Built from EA's Week 7 roster update: the headliners are each side's highest-rated players, trait callouts are their actual top ratings, and league ranks compare all 32 starting units in the same file. A gem is a non-starter (85 OVR or under) carrying at least one elite trait of 92+.
